i'm in a bad mood, but needed to get these birthday pictures posted. macey turned 1 on october 10th- the weekend before we moved. cam turned 5 this past sunday, but we had a few celebrations for him before we moved... and after too.

my blurry family- (well part of my family- the utah ones). one of these days, i need a camera where you can actually see people's faces if you take the picture more than 3 feet away... miss them! my favorite part about living in utah was sunday dinners at my parents house.

the weekend before we moved, my old roommate and awesome friend casey and i got together... so fun and so long overdue!

mimi- don't you love her cake that i made? it was supposed to be red velvet with cream cheese frosting (a bunt cake)... and this was the cake BEFORE she dove into it. the cake stuck to the pan. i couldn't stop laughing at it. i'll never make red velvet again. it looked so dry so i tasted a tiny bit to make sure it wasn't disgusting (i was going to be serving it to other people besides my one year old) and it was! ew! i could seriously TASTE the red food dye! ew!
random, but tyler's mom got his diploma framed for his birthday and gave it to him on macey's birthday since it had just been finished. and since you can't read it, it says something about him being a doctor.

i've had a bunch of people ask me to post pictures of our apartment... and i will... as soon as i finish unpacking and organizing. it gets really complicated with three kids running around, trying to entertain them, and keep up with daily things like dishes, laundry, feeding people, changing diapers... unpacking more boxes only happens when tyler is around to help. and since he has been super sick lately, he hasn't been much help. but hopefully he's on the mend now and we will finish getting everything settled so i can take pictures of our new pad. oh yeah. and our health and fitness blog will be up and running in another week or so... look forward to healthy recipes, natural remedies, weight loss tips, exercise info, lots of giveaways, pregnancy and eating/exercising, etc. i'll keep you posted! promise!

Is Macy standing on her own?! You didn't tell me that the other night. She is getting so big! I can't believe you made cake?! And that you even tried it! The strawberry neapolitin sounds so good! :)
