we took advantage of tyler's last christmas as a student and went to utah... we know after real life starts in a few months and he actually has a job, we won't have 2 1/2 week christmas breaks anymore! the trip was good, both ways, only taking us 12 hours... not bad for having three kids under the age of four. all i have to say is, thank goodness for dvd players in the car! it saved us! oh, and not stopping to feed the baby- although it's illegal to take them out of the carseat, i couldn't stand to stop.
we spent time with both mine and tyler's families. it was fun to see everyone. i didn't even take any pictures at tyler's house. oops! but here is a bunch from the time we spent with my family in random order.
can you tell he didn't want me to take this picture? this was one of his constant frustrating moments while roller skating. i have more on this below...

shoveling snow. oh yeah! see that bandaid on cam's chin??? we had our first experience with stitches a few days before we left for utah. cam's version of the story goes like this. "i just falled off the barstool and cracked my chin open. and my mom saw fatty tissue." yes. ew. we tried liquid bandaid, but he kept splitting it back open. even after the stitches, he split open between the stitches twice. next time, i'm making them put the stitches in right next to each other! no space between!

we went roller skating with my family- it's been a long time! cameron had a love/hate relationship with it. he wouldn't stop skating, but said "i want everything in the world to die" because he was getting so frustrated that he couldn't get the hang of it. i have no idea where he got that from- no, seriously.

So fun! Looks like an awesome Christmas. I love that Cam says he wants everything in the world to die...I've felt that way about skating, too. Your kids look so much alike, I love it. The Christmas jammies pic is the icing on top! Glad you had fun!

AWESOME SNOWMAN!!!! Your kids are so cute. Cameron's face in the skating picture is so funny. It looked like a love/hate relationship with the skates. What a patient Dad he has. Love you guys.
